Last night or early this morning, I had a dream featuring my dead cousin. He was murdered back in October, and while we had been inseparable as children, family circumstances separated us in our teens. I never knew the man he grew into. Running late this year. Better late than never. I told someone that I'm considering 2012 the year I forgot everything I knew about writing. And unfortunately, I think it hit with editing and completion. How do I think I did with all the SMART goals I outlined for this year? Truthfully, I don’t see any progress on all the fronts I tried to attack. Haven't lost power yet, so maybe we won't. *Knock on wood* But the storm is going nowhere quickly, hovering on our coast and sending in feeder bands of rain. They issued tornado warnings yesterday, but I never saw weather that bad at my house. The center is around Morgan City, but it is very undefined there. My sister was finally released from the hospital Thursday July 8th after nine nights in the hospital. The only restrictions she has is on how much she lifts and since she's moving around good, Mom came on home with me Friday night.
